01/02/2025 – Starting my online Journal

Good morning reader,

I’ve been journaling manually for the last year in a 5 minute gratitude journal. Although it’s been helpful to create a consistent habit, it hasn’t allowed me to document well my life, what’s happening that affect me and my family and also the successes and failures I’ve experienced.

I’m hoping that my posterity and future generations will be able to learn from my experiences and do better than I have in some of my failures.

My name is Joseph Stevenson. I was born in October 1983 in Centralia Washington. After some sicknesses that weren’t diagnosable, my parents Rebecca and Leo moved our family to Bullhead City AZ to get into a dryer climate. My father worked at the local power plant and after a year moved us over the mountains to Golden Valley AZ where it was cooler in the summers than Bullhead.

I was raised in Golden Valley until the age of 19 where I then served a full time mission in first Cincinnati Ohio and then Louisville Kentucky.

After my mission I was married for 6 months until unfortunately that ended. Long story short, I learned the hard way to get to know someone well before marrying them.

After a long time, some pain etc. I was remarried to a wonderful woman. We had 4 kids and are currently raising them.

I own a marketing company that I started about 13 years ago in Vegas and live on a ranch in southern Utah.

I also am the author of many art books that are sold on my website and amazon.

That’s the summary of where my life is so far. I’ll continue to write and update as I go along!
