Great instructional book!
This book is very thorough and has helped me recognize my weak spots in drawing. I’ve always struggled to draw “people” in general and this book pointed out the things I was missing in my attempts. I expect I will be able to make significant improvements and even have fun with my kids drawing the anime figures. I’ve already started the first one and it’s tons better than anything I attempted before!

It nicely teaches the basics of sketching Anime bodies.
I liked how the author gives basics of how most body proportions are drawn but then reminds us that these are basics and we should remember that every body is different. He also teaches about not only different body types (as in young, thin, muscular, heavy) but also different styles of anime (standard vs chibi).It's easy to follow and encouraging.
